Chief People Officer
WGNinHR Consulting, LLC is pleased to announce that we have been retained by Arena to find a Chief People Officer role, newly designed under a compelling growth strategy.
Arena is on a mission to rewire the labor market around outcomes in service of a world where people and organizations thrive.
Driven by the premise that hiring managers make decisions with limited information – i.e. resume content, anecdotal information, etc., Arena believes strongly that the smart use of data and technology is at the heart of solving those plaguing problems. They use data to remove bias from the hiring process, helping organizations to outperform their peers on key metrics such as workforce productivity and organizational diversity and financial performance, among others.
As leaders in this field, Arena recently unveiled a cutting edge technique that removes 92%-99% of latent bias from algorithmic models.
A venture-backed company, Arena is strategically positioned for high-growth over the next 2 years, supported by a bold and novel plan. Currently growing dramatically within the healthcare and restaurant industries, they have embarked upon both a horizontal and vertical growth strategy, expanding their reach and impact.
Reporting to the CEO, the Chief People Officer role will play a critical partnership role in the company’s growth stages and beyond. The successful candidate will:
Translate Arena’s business strategies in the right People strategies and hiring roadmap needed to accelerate company objectives and optimize talent
Lead with a data-driven mindset to build business cases, shape and deliver on initiatives which advance Arena’s priorities
Assess and diagnose business-driven organizational needs; provide recommendations on optimal team designs
Partner with stakeholders to define and develop an employer brand that continually positions Arena as an Employer-of-Choice
Reimagine a scalable end-to-end recruiting function that employs strategies and marketing techniques which attract top talent
Lead competitive market research to establish a total compensation plan, including bonuses, equity structure and benefits that align with company KPIs
Serve as the Chief Architect of Arena’s Diversity and Inclusion program, embedding D&I initiatives across the entire People function—from talent pipelines to succession planning
