What You Bring

A burning desire to explore ‘what’s next?’ in your own career. You have an entrepreneurial spirit. You enjoy working as a contract or freelancer while maintaining the flexibility to pursue your passions.

 

You have at least 5 years of demonstrated experience in recruiting across the full life cycle of recruitment. You have recruited for a wide variety of functional roles across industries, but your sweet spot is in the Non-Profit Industry. You enjoy autonomy but can also work well in a team setting. You possess these additional competencies, among others:

 

  • Strong computer skills and computer savvy; experience using applicant tracking systems

  • Experience working as an independent recruiter or with a recruiting agency

  • Ability to creatively source candidates for traditional and non-traditional jobs alike

  • Results-driven with ability to work quickly

  • Keen instincts, possessing actionable insights about the recruiting market

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task without breaking a sweat; comfortable handling interruptions

  • Strong problem-solver

  • Adept relationship-builder

  • Highly adaptable to a variety of clients and environments

  • Strong individual contributor with the humility to take direction and guidance

 

What You Will Do

  • Review existing job descriptions to help strengthen or increase clarity prior to beginning sourcing activities (may be required to help create some job descriptions from scratch)

  • Schedule and conduct initial phone screens with candidates using proven assessment methods

  • Assess candidate knowledge and experience through behavioral, and other interview techniques to determine fit

  • Manage the candidate experience throughout entire life of the search process; communicate to client proactively and in a timely manner

  • Conduct reference checks for selected candidates, preparing comprehensive summaries for hiring managers

  • Conduct research on company prospects to identify current or future hiring needs

 

 

Commission-only potential at $7,500 to $15,000 per placement; Work remotely, with a flexible schedule that fits your needs
